What do I bring to my first appointment?

Advanced Health Care Directive

1) Bring copies of the deeds to the real property you own, along with recent property tax bills. If you do not have copies, we can pull the most recently recorded documents from a title company.

2) Bring correct spelling of names for anyone you would like to name in the documents such as backup Trustees, Beneficiaries, and Powers of Attorney for Health Care and Asset Management. These should match the names on their Driver’s License or ID card, if applicable.

3) Bring names and addresses of professionals that you use, so that we may send them notice of your estate planning.  This includes your Accountant, Financial Planner, Stockbroker and Homeowners Insurance Agent.

4) If you have an existing trust which was not prepared by Bourdelais Law and wish to update it, bring a copy of the original trust and any amendments made to it.
